Nadi Srl is an Italian company with over 30 years experience of solenoid and air operated valve design and manufacture. Their products are available in both safe area and hazardous area compatible specifications with certification for ATEX and GOST EAC & EX. They also produce a number of highly specialist designs for demanding industrial applications.

Nadi offer a comprehensive range of valves in 2 way, 3 way and 5 way configurations for a vast array of industrial applications. ATEX/IECEx/GOST Ex options are standard options for nearly all solenoid valve models, even the ultra specialist models. The wide ambient temperature range capability of up to -60degC to +90degC means that Nadi valves can operate reliably in extreme environments.

The Nadi C series solenoid valve is a well proven 3 port/2 way design, manufactured in Italy for over 35 years. They offer both direct or pilot operated designs with traditional poppet design for normally closed and normally open and universal operations. Nadi C series 3 way solenoid valves are used with liquid or gaseous media and can incorporate a huge variety of options with port sizes 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2” and body materials brass and 316 stainless steel.

The Nadi D series solenoid valve is a well proven 5 port/2 or 3 way design, manufactured in Italy for over 35 years.  Nadi D series 5 way solenoid valves are used with gaseous media and can incorporate a huge variety of options with port sizes 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2” and body materials brass and 316 stainless steel. The D50 is intended for direct actuator directional control through the integral NAMUR interface mounting and offers 3/2 or 5/2 operation selectable by the installer.

Nadi recognise the importance in allowing operator control of automations such that they offer two different forms of manual reset across their 2 way, 3 way and 5 way valves. Conventional manual reset requires the valve to be energised and the manual actuator pulled in order to latch the valve in the open position. The valve will then return to the start position on de-energising the coil. The manual latching function allows the operator to latch the valve open by pulling the actuator with the coil de-energised. The valve then closes when the coil is energised. The Nadi E series manual reset valves pictured here are often used on gas and fuel duty to ensure system safety

The F series three way manual reset solenoid valves manufactured by Nadi Srl in Italy and can only change from ‘Reset’ to ‘Work’ condition by manually operating the latching device. Body materials are brass or stainless steel. Port sizes 1/4″, 3/8″ & 1/2″. The F series is suitable for gaseous media.

E Type Operation: Spool of the valve is manually latched to the ‘work’ condition with the coil de-energised. By energising the coil the spool will be unlatched and the valve will return to the ‘Rest’ position.

D Type Operation: Spool of the valve is manually latched to the ‘work’ condition with the coil energised. By de-energising the coil the spool will be unlatched and the valve will return to the ‘Rest’ position.

The G series five way manual reset solenoid valves can only change from ‘Reset’ to ‘Work’ condition by manually operating the latching device. Body materials are brass or stainless steel. Port sizes 1/4″, 3/8″ & 1/2″. The G series is suitable for gaseous media.

E Type Operation: Spool of the valve is manually latched to the ‘work’ condition with the coil de-energised. By energising the coil the spool will be unlatched and the valve will return to the ‘Rest’ position.

D Type Operation: Spool of the valve is manually latched to the ‘work’ condition with the coil energised. By de-energising the coil the spool will be unlatched and the valve will return to the ‘Rest’ position.

Nadi manufacture many specific application valves such as the HT2992/HT2980 pictured above. This is designed for automatic carbon dioxide fire suppression systems and allows operator setting of the valve for testing or ready for use. These valves are mounted directly to the high pressure CO2 bottles providing a compact control method and easy installation.

The Nadi L series solenoid valve is a well proven 2 port/2 way design, manufactured in Italy for over 35 years. They offer both direct or pilot operated designs with piston or diaphragm options for normally closed and normally open operations.

Nadi M series air pilot operated valves utilise a very compact piston actuator delivering quick and reliable operation in a very small volume. Ideal for automation control panels where space is limited, models are available in a wide range of line sizes and pressure ranges.

NADI Part Numbers

NADI part numbers follow a logical system using numbers and letters to determine each individual element of the product. This is consistent throughout the range, and makes end user identification easier, especially when recording special model variants.

For example: model C03T18C0P comprises:

Serial Numbers

Each model will have a serial number either on a label on the solenoid coil, or in the case of ATEX or IP67 housings, it is stamped on the rating plate. Confirm the serial number so that we can identify the exact model. Later models have the year of manufacture. For example 21334/15. Year of manufacture would be 2015.
