Sitecna VB Volume Boosters

The Sitecna VB volume booster range combine rugged construction, high flow rates and comprehensive certification to deliver optimum performance in harsh conditions. Precision manufactured from 316L stainless steel or copper free aluminium, the VB volume booster range is ideal for use in valve actuation systems and pneumatic automation where accurate and high flow pressure modulation is crucial.

For environments where explosion risk is important, the VB range carries ATEX and GOST Ex certification as standard. In addition, these volume boosters have been tested and certified by TUV Rheinland to be compliant with IEC 61508 Functional Safety Level 3 for safety instrumented systems where reliability and extended working life is critical for plant safety.

VB has NPT threads as standard in sizes from 1/4″ to 1″ for outlet pressures up to 10bar. The maximum inlet pressure is 10bar with a 1:1 control pressure ratio.

There is a choice for elastomers to suit different ambient temperature ranges down to -55degC making it suitable for installations in all industrial situations.
