S 400 Air/Gas Flow Sensor

S 400 was a highly versatile thermal mass flow meter with an insertion type design for ease of installation through the graduated stem engraving and G1/2″ mounting thread.

The S 400 had a choice of stem lengths to suit line sizes up to DN300 and larger line sizes were accommodated on request. The inline version of the S 400 was the S 420.

Both provide 4-20mA (flow), pulse and SDI (SUTO Digital Interface) as standard for communication to interface with common plant control systems and other SUTO products.

The S 400 could be supplied calibrated for standard gases such as Air, Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Nitrogen Oxide, Argon, Natural Gas, Hydrogen, Helium and Propane. Other gases or gas mixes on request.

With a maximum pressure rating of 5.0MPa (requires high pressure installation kit), S 400 offered accurate measurement and fast response to changing flow conditions in a wide range of industrial processes.

S 400 has now been superseded by the new S 401 flow sensor which offers improved accuracy, faster response, colour touchscreen display, Bluetooth interface and option for two user selectable gas calibrations.
