S450 & S452 Heavy Duty Thermal Mass Flow Sensor

S450 & S452 have now been replaced by S451 & S453

S450 and S452 are heavy duty thermal mass flow sensors, designed for harsh environments improvements where the IP67 rating, all stainless steel wetted parts and IECEx certification are essential.

The S450 is an insertion type sensor with standard G1/2″ male thread and a choice of stem lengths to suit line sizes up to DN300. Larger line sizes can be accommodated on request. The S452 is the inline version with threaded or flanged connections in sizes DN 15 to DN80.

Both have bluetooth interface for remote sensor configuration and provide dual 4-20mA (flow & temperature), pulse and SDI (SUTO Digital Interface) as standard with options for HART or Modbus/RTU communication to interface with common plant control systems and other SUTO products.

The units can be supplied calibrated for standard gases such as Air, Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Nitrogen Oxide, Argon, Natural Gas, Hydrogen, Helium and Propane. Other gases or gas mixes on request.

With a maximum pressure rating of 4.0MPa (requires high pressure installation kit), S 401 offers accurate measurement and fast response to changing flow conditions in a wide range of industrial processes.

The optional LCD display shows flow, consumption, media temperature and diagnostic results for ease of use and bidirectional measurement capability is an option for S450/S452 series flow meters.
