S415 & S418 Air/Gas Flow Sensors

S415 and S418 are a new generation of inline thermal mass flow meters intended to replace the earlier S 420 designs. Both models offer integral display, Bluetooth interface and communication options for analogue 4-20mA plus pulse, digital Modbus/RTU or digital M-Bus.

S415 is designed to be a low cost solution for monitoring compressed air or nitrogen at sizes up to 1″. The price point makes them ideal for measuring at multiple points in a distribution system for monitoring usage in different plant areas.

S418 has the same size range of DN8 to DN25 as S 415, a choice of up to 2 user selectable gas calibrations from a wide range of common gases, and an integral data logger with USB interface. The integral data logger and higher accuracy makes it a perfect standalone instrument for consumption analysis or performance verification.

The integral flow conditioner in S415 and S418, means there is no need for extended straight lengths of pipe either side of the unit, allowing installation in restricted spaces without affecting the measurement accuracy.

The S418 can be supplied calibrated for up to 2 standard gases such as Air, Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Nitrogen Oxide, Argon, Natural Gas, Hydrogen, Helium and Propane. Other gases or gas mixes on request. There is also an option for an integrated pressure sensor.
