With this promotional image, SUTO-iTEC GmbH have provided an early glimpse into the new products they will be launching at ComVac Asia next month. Some of these products like the S461 ultrasonic flow meter, have been expected for some time and it is clear from this image that this replacement for the old S460 unit will incorporate new features such as the colour touch screen and Bluetooth communication. Will this unit add wired and or wireless ethernet communication? We'll find out very soon.
The other big news here is the revamping of the entire dew point measuring range. SUTO developed the dual sensor technology that allows a fast response over a very wide measuring range and it is expected that all these new products will feature this technology. The portable unit shown here is likely to be the successor to the popular S505 handheld tester and with incorporating the dual sensor, removes the need for interchangeable sensor modules completely and now one tester can measure the whole range of dew point. These handheld sensors have always included pressure measurement for ultimate accuracy and we may see the addition of more reporting functions and communication capabilities with this device.
The other two dew point sensors shown may share the dual sensor technology and probably add more communication capabilities as standard such as 4-20mA, Modbus/RTU, Bluetooth and possibly a wireless ethernet to enable the sensors to incorporate easily into all Industry 4.0 transmission architectures.
We'll keep you updated as we hear more.
