Oil Fog Lubricators for Pneumatic Systems

Oil fog lubricators are used in compressed air systems to add oil to the airstream to lubricate air tools, air motors and actuators to extend their service lives. Many modern valves and actuators now have improved sealing materials to remove the need for additional lubrication but this does not apply to all pneumatic components and as such, precise control of the oil delivery and ensuring the aerosols are consistent, is key to reliable operation. These lubricators employ fine adjustment metering screws to adjust the oil flow which is drawn from the reservoir bowl by the passing airstream. Bowl oil levels should be checked regularly in order to prevent items that need the lubrication failing due to running dry.
