S461 Advanced Ultrasonic Flow Meter

The S461 ultrasonic flow meter uses ultrasonic pulses between transducers that clamp onto a pipeline to accurately measure the flow rate of the liquid and is capable of measuring bidirectional flow. The colour touchscreen display provides easy access to all functions and readout of flow, consumption and temperature when the external temperature sensors are attached. 

There are two sets of transducers available for the S461 (standard or high temperature) that allow flow measurement in pipe sizes from DN40 to DN500 making the unit very flexible in it’s use and the built in data logger makes it a stand alone solution if required. Bluetooth communication is built into this device and works in combination with the S4C-US smartphone app to give live flow readings and access to the menu and stored data.

Ultrasonic flow measurement is commonly used for water applications but can also be employed with a range of refined hydrocarbons. S461 also includes the capacity for performing energy calculations in heating and cooling systems through the use of additional temperature sensors.
