S531 Compressed Gas Leak Detector Kit

The S531 ultrasonic leak detector offers an efficient and cost effective means of identifying gas leaks much faster than the traditional and messy soap bubble method and is capable of indicating both leakage flow and cost. 

The S531 leak detector can collate additional contextual data such as voice recordings and photographs with the integral camera that show the exact leak location for inclusion in a leak survey report. When the user inputs the sensing distance for each leak and the site air generation cost per unit, the S531 will also display and record the leak flow rate and cost for every location.

S531 ultrasonic leak detector is compatible with the SUTO Leak Management System software (LMS below) and data can be downloaded through Bluetooth or USB when compiling reports.

The S530 ultrasonic detector is supplied as a complete kit within a rugged transport case. The kit comprises:

• Handheld sensor unit with touchscreen display and rechargeable battery.
• Sensor trumpet for faint or distant leaks
• Medium and Fine sensor focus tips
• Wireless noise cancelling headphones
• Mains battery charger and USB lead
• Rugged transport case
• LMS reporting software single user licence

In addition to detecting pressurised air or gas leaks, the same principle can be applied to test bearings for early signs of failure as they can also exhibit similar ultrasound frequencies that the S531 will detect.

There is an optional ultrasonic emitter that can be a useful addition to the standard kit for detection of leaks from unpressurised pipes, vessels and enclosures. This allows for testing of welds, joints and seals without the cost or contamination issues of actual gas testing. The emitter can also be useful as a training tool for new users.

LMS Leak Measurement System Software

The LMS software is designed to form an integrated system with the S531 leak detector above to simplify detailed survey data collection and reporting. The software is either local server or cloud based and allows access through any web browser to edit, review and report from the logged data. A single user licence is included with every S531.
