Measure Monitor Control recently was successful specifying and supplying 12 ATEX certified solenoid valves destined for a project in Cyprus. The project required valves to be compatible with a range of fuels and cope with the heat of a Mediterranean summer while retaining ATEX certification. The valves needed to meet target flow rates for the various media intended for use in the multi-fuel system and as such, 2”BSP normally closed valves were specified with Viton seals. Stainless steel construction was offered to match the rest of the system and ATEX Exd certification was accepted to provide client safety up to 60degC ambient temperatures.
